Sony Venice 2 8K
The Sony Venice 2 8k Camera with full frame license is the current flagship of the Sony CineAlta line of cinema cameras. It has the widest dynamic range of any Sony camera ever, and incredibly fast sensor readout. The Sony Venice 2 has been popular for use on high-end television and films. Its credits include The Lincoln Lawyer, Ferrari, and CSI: Vegas.
The Venice 8K sensor has a versatile dual ISO of 800/3200. The 16 stops of dynamic range across both ISOs allow for incredible exposure flexibility in a variety of shooting situations. The Venice 2 records internally to high-speed ASX cards, in recording formats including ProRes and X-OCN.
The Sony Venice 2 features 8x integrated ND filters, reducing the reliance on matte boxes and external filters. The camera has a native locking E mount and a PL mount is available, making the lens pairings nearly endless. It can run on both 12v and 24v power systems.
