The Sennheiser MKH50 Shotgun Microphone is a super-cardioid microphone specifically designed for spot capturing. The MKH50 offers with incredible attenuation at the lateral sections resulting in a tightly focused pick-up with a high level of side-borne sound muting and feedback rejection.
A low frequency roll-off switch minimizes rumble and noise while the pre-attenuation switch can be used when mounting the camera near to high transients making it an excellent choice when you need a focused recording with minimal ambience.
