Canon RF Prime Lenses
A new update to the already great EF series of photo primes, the Canon RF Primes feature Canon’s new RF mount, optimized for use with their line of mirrorless full-frame cameras. The shorter flange depth of the RF mount allows more room for other improvements to be added to the lenses such as image stabilization, quiet and fast auto focus, optical improvements such as faster aperture, and overall improvements in lightness and compactness.
Several of the RF Primes lenses (specifically the 50mm, 85mm and 100mm) are also part of Canon’s L-Series, which provides even further improved optics, and a weather-resistant body design, making them perfect for use both in the studio or out in the field.
Any of these RF Primes would also make a great compliment for our selection of Canon RF Zooms.
