ARRI Alexa Mini LF

Building on the success of the award-winning Arri ALEV 3 sensor, the Alexa Mini LF’s ALEV 3 A2X sensor is essentially dual ALEV 3s, stitched together for twice the imaging area. This creates a 36.70mm x 25.54mm sensor with performance that continues to set the bar for dynamic range and color rendition. Pair the Mini LF with large format lenses like Arri Signature Primes and cover the entire 4448 x 3096 pixel array for multi-aspect capture, or use full frame anamorphic lenses for ultra widescreen at resolutions far beyond 4K. On productions with super 35 lenses, or alongside super 35 cameras, the Alexa Mini LF also shines. Match the image from the Arri Alexa Mini easily, or use Arri’s reveal color science to shoot alongside the Arri Alexa 35.

The improvements to the Arri Alexa Mini LF aren’t limited to just image quality. The MVF-2 EVF/Viewfinder is completely redesigned, with a 4-inch flip out touchscreen monitor. Other features, like the heated eyecup, are a testament to Arri’s commitment to outstanding performance in the most challenging circumstances. The camera records to durable Codex Compact drives, allowing offload of huge files in just minutes. The LPL mount with PL adapter opens up new mounting options, and the integrated wireless control and motor controller with LBUS makes integrating with wireless accessories easier than ever.

Our Alexa Mini LF rental includes many of the essential camera accessories you’ll need in a variety of situations, including a top handle, shoulder rig, top 15mm rails and bottom 19mm rails. The included two terabytes of Codex Compact drives can hold up to six hours of ProRes 422 UHD footage.
