Red Star Philadelphia is our newest facility, serving Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. It offers an incredible selection of lighting, grip, cameras, lenses, and everything else you might need on set or in the studio. 

Red Star Rentals Philadelphia began as separate locations for lighting and camera rentals. You may have known us as Location Lighting, Charmcine, Liberty Camera, or Videosmith. In 2023, we combined all of our rental services into a full-service Philly location. 

We rent lighting equipment from every major manufacturer, with deep inventory in Arri, Aputure, Astera, and Creamsource. We also rent grip equipment, from 10-ton trucks to individual C-stands, flags, and every on-set essential.

We also rent more than 100 camera bodies, with dedicated camera prep benches. From cinema cameras like the Arri Alexa 35 to mirrorless bodies like the Sony A7s III, and an unmatched selection of lens rentals, Red Star Rentals Philadelphia can help you build the kit you need.
