Denecke TS-3EL Timecode Slate
The Denecke TS-3EL Time Code Slate reads and displays SMPTE/EBU Time Code. An internally mounted SB-2 Syncbox Time Code Generator jams to all standard frame rates, including 30 df and 23.976. User bits jam automatically when the time is set. The high-stability crystal has very low drift and adjusts even in extreme temperatures for accurate operation.
The Denecke TS-3 and TS-3EL slates feature a flat back for easy holding; and camera logs can be stored using the removable rear plate. Our TS-3 slate rentals are all EL (illuminated) and with colored clapper sticks.
The slate includes a battery voltage readout and low battery warning. The sliding door allows access to controls and the battery compartment. The slate automatically sets the frame rate to the incoming timecode. The last 16 claps timecode is logged and can be displayed for easy logging, even after the take.
