Canon FD Prime Lenses
The Canon FD Primes are vintage Canon still lenses modified by GL Optics. In addition to cine-style gears with matching diameters, the irises have been modified from 8 blades to 14. This rounds the iris and creates beautiful circular bokeh at all stops. The lenses can be configured for use with PL or EF mount.
The Canon FDs are often compared to Canon’s vintage K35 cinema lenses as they share many characteristics. Canon FD lenses have a bit more contrast and are slightly cooler than the K35, but are more affordable. All Canon FD prime lenses cover full frame and are aspherical.
