Aputure LS 600d Pro
The Aputure Light Storm 600d Pro is a fully dimmable, point-source, daylight LED COB fixture, with output comparable to a 1200w HMI while using just 720 watts of power. It’s among the most popular of Aputure’s fixtures, owing to the great balance of output, size, efficiency, and affordability.
Designed for demanding use on location, the Aputure 600d Pro is weather-resistant, although not IP-rated. We suggest covering the fixture in heavy rains, and only operating it tilted downward, for adequate drainage.
The Aputure 600d Pro features 0-100% stepless dimming, with 4 options for dimming curves and 8 built-in effects including lightning, strobe, and fireworks. In addition to operating on 120v AC power, the 600d can run with dual compatible 14.4-volt V-mount batteries at half output.
The LS 600d Pro can accept modifiers using the integrated Bowens mount, including reflectors, soft boxes, lanterns, or the 10″ Aputure fresnel.
The Aputure 600d Pro can be controlled from the ballast, using CRMX, DMX-512, or with mobile devices using the Sidus Link app.
While nearly all bowens mount modifiers will fit, some are not compatible, due to heat or due to focusing limitations. We have tested these modifiers for maximum safety and performance:
