This adapter permits EF lenses to work with cameras using the Canon RF or EOS-R mount by converting the viewing angle to expand to fit the sensor size, consequently gaining the lens a stop of light in the process. Simply puts this adapter on the RF camera and then fit any EF lens to the adapter.
