Sigma’s EF 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art lens makes a compelling argument against the standard 16-35mm range by boasting an incredible f/1.8 aperture. This feature alone makes it incredible for both low light and creating background bokeh, even at the wide end of the range.
While only covering ASP-C and not Full-Frame, its wide open aperture still makes it a viable option for astrophotography. This lens features the same heavy duty Sigma build found on the “Art Series” lenses.
