Cooke S4 Primes (Uncoated)
The Cooke S4 Primes with an uncoated front element are physically similar to the coated S4s, but visually very different. The uncoated element creates a vintage look with lower contrast, milkier shadows, flares, streaks, and weird aberrations.
With less lens coatings, these Cooke S4 lenses slightly reduce the amount of light passing through the lens, changing the maximum T-Stop to 2.2.
