Century Tilt Shift Lens Set
The Century Tilt Shift lenses are rehoused Canon tilt shift optics with PL mounts and standard 0.8 mod pitch gearing. Originally designed for use on Canon still camera bodies, the modifications make them ideal for use on motion cameras. Canon shooters may recognize the classic boxy look and locking mechanisms at the base of the lens. Each tilt shift lens has an 80mm front diameter and weighs 2.2-2.4 pounds. They cover 360 degrees of rotation and 8 degrees of tilt.
Quite popular for architectural work, tilt shift lenses are also frequently used for precision control of the focal plane, and controlling perspective convergence.
Because the lenses were originally designed for 35mm still photography, they cover full frame even when using tilt or shift.
